Meet dr. Young Joon Byun, DMD

Endodontist in Atlanta, GA

Dr. Byun  graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2005. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2009. While attending the dental school, Dr. Byun was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.  After graduation, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in 2010, and he practiced as a general dentist in private practice for three years in Massachusetts.

After living in New England area for seven years, Dr. Byun moved to Chicago and completed his advanced specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. He has been practicing in Chicago area for the past four years as an Endodontist.  Dr. Byun is an active member of American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontists.
