Initial Visit

Your initial appointment will begin with a comprehensive examination, after which you and your doctor will discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. At that time you will have the opportunity to address any questions you might have in a comfortable, one on one setting. Once your specific needs have been identified and discussed, your doctor will outline our professional services and direct you towards a solution that best fits your needs.

All treatment rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art digital imaging systems and monitors that allow you and your doctor to view and discuss your specific needs, offering you the highest level of doctor/patient communication and understanding.

In most cases, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation and completing registration online whenever possible:

• Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable.
• A list of medications you are presently taking.
• If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
• Picture ID

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit. Please alert our office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental procedures (i.e antibiotics, for pre-med.)

X-Rays

If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office or have the images emailed. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our office.
