Meet Dr. Waters

Dr. Jeffrey Waters is a graduate of the University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry where he received his post-doctorate Endodontic degree and a Master of Science in Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Waters also studied at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center conducting research in patients with post operative dysphagia following nasal palatal reconstruction. He also conducted clinical trials to obtain his Master of Science Degree, focusing on pharmacology and drug distribution. Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Waters completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Murray State University followed by his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dental medicine.

During his academic career, Dr. Waters' scholastic achievements included, the Letitia S. Kimsey scholarship for educational excellence in the field of microbiology and immunology. In addition, he graduated PSI Omega in the top 5% among national dental schools. He is a past President of the Houston Association of Endodontists, and currently holds memberships in the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Northern District Dental Society and the Hinman Dental Society. He is an active member of various academic study clubs in the Atlanta area. Dr. Waters is committed to actively continuing his education so that he can offer the latest technological and clinical advancements to his patients.

Dr. Waters was recently chosen by his peers to be included in the field of Endodontics as featured in Atlanta magazine's 2008 topDentists™. He resides near Emory University in Atlanta, where, in his leisure time he enjoys traveling with his family, scuba diving, glass blowing and of course play time with his French bulldogs, Olivier and Maddie.
